Model “LIFT”
Characteristics of model “LIFT” brake The electromechanical model LIFT is a spring pressurised brake, fed by direct current. The model LIFT acts in conformity with the normative law 95/16/CE for goods-lifts and lifts. The aim of the brake is that of guaranteeing the static positioning of the drive shaft during the opening and closing phases of the doors. For this reason graphics relative to the consumption haven’t been reported. The building typology of the brake foresees a central magnetic system, kept in position by brake adjusters. A couple of armature plates operate separately on the braking disks, determining a double safeness on the system. The braking torque value considered by the normative law is that developed by one brake alone. The brake is arranged to hold a two micron switch for the checking of the opening and closing of the armature plate. The main characteristics of the LIFT brake are:
- Variable braking torque, established in the building phase of the brake.
- Strong structure.
- Maximum silence in interventions, in opening as in closing <50 dBA.
- Maximum silence in rotation. The precise matching of the hub and the disk, and the insertion of the centering gasket, avoid that noise is made during the rotation of the group. The constructive structure of the brake with the two armature plates and the fixed central part, guarantees the releasing of the disks during their rotation.
- Good dissipation of heat. The brake is projected for a use without ventilation.

|
The bearing is supplied with a flange connected to the bearing of the motorising system, due to the weight and torques developed. These do not permit to apply it directly connected to the bearing structure of the motor. The brake is provided with a patented system of blocking. This system guarantees the total release of the two disks. It may be activated by cables or levers with commands which are tangent or perpendicular to the rotation axis. The spool of the electromagnet is completely cemented with epoxy resin and its mechanical parts are protected by a zinc plating chemical treatment.

Model “BS”
Characteristics of model “BS” brake
- Compact structure. These kind of brakes are used on Brushless motors. They can be used untill 120°C.
- Very quiet in operation (<70 dB according to Regulation 98/392 CEE).
- The brake is designed for a static operation of the system. They can be used for safety braking but with the speed < 1500 rpm.
- This new brake designed by Temporiti srl, is provided already assembled. Therefore the brake is very easy to assemble as the operator must only lock the keyer screws to fit the braking disc.
- The motor cover and the aluminium surface allow a good heat dissipation of both the electromagnet and the braking disc. The electromagnet winding is completely encased in epoxy resin and the mechanical parts are protected by a zinc-plating treatment. The structure of the brake allows working in continuous duty without ventilation. Class F Insulation.
- The brake allows to develop a high and steady static torque due to the patented design of the braking system. Any variation of the braking torque is possible by changing the springs load, therefore the torque value doesn't change during the time.
- For this model of brake it is not possible to apply the calculation system reported in our catalogue.
- For the type BB the disk is fixed on the shaft through the keyer

Model “ ”
Characteristics of model “ EX ” brake The brake finds its theoretic base in the European council directives of 14th June 1989 (89/392/CEE), in the 94/9/CE (ATEX), regarding the devices and protection systems destined to be used in potentially explosive atmospheres.
- The mechanical elements are represented by a covering built in G20 cast iron and ASTM A105 steal. This containing structure has been designed to satisfy the following requirements.
- The encumbrance allows the coupling with any electric motor which has a front flange called “B14”.
- The lining and joint elements are so to stand a pressure of 30 bars and avoid the entrance of dust or gas in the structure.
- The “AC” three-phase tube electromagnetic brake, which represents the primary element of safety, lodges inside the covering and is built according to the specific UL/Csa certification laws.
- View the part of the general catalogue regarding the AC braking group for the mechanical characteristics and operating.
- A joint/connection shaft represents the main novelty, allowing the coupling of the device to an electric motor, and an airing of the electric of this electric motor. Aspect that up to now has not been possible if not by using other devices.
- An absolutely innovating unblocking lever device, due to the building form and for the possibility of being used even when the system is kept electrically connected guaranteeing all the safety aspects required by the community directives.
